The Million Mile 2019: Supporting Alex’s Lemonade Stand
The Event
When?
This event goes through the whole month of September, starting on Monday, September 1, 2019, and ending on Monday, September 30, 2019.
Where?
Anywhere and everywhere! No matter where you are, you can participate in The Million Mile 2019. If you are in the West Palm Beach area, our event will be occurring at our dealership, which is located at 3001 Okeechobee Blvd., West Palm Beach, FL.
What?
All you have to do is register for the event online and be active. You’ll log your active miles online — no matter if you ran, walked, or cycled — and raise money for childhood cancer. At the end of the month, Alex’s Lemonade Stand hopes to have logged a total of one million miles.
Schumacher Volvo Cars of the Palm Beaches is supporting this cause by donating for every person who runs, walks, cycles, or drivers to the dealership during the month of September.
How does this work? It’s simple. All you have to do is follow these three steps:
- Visit Schumacher Volvo Cars of the Palm Beaches. You can choose to either run, walk, cycle, or drive there.
- Take a selfie with a Volvo vehicle and post it to your social media accounts. Use the hashtag #VolvoCarsforAlex.
- For every post with this hashtag, Volvo Cars will donate $10 to the Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation.
The Cause
Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation helps fight childhood cancer. Donations go towards funding childhood cancer research, awareness, and support of affected families.
